When Alfie had his last year, i was prepared for him to flinch or yelp etc but afterwards he just stuck his tongue out and licked his nose and that was it Laughing I know Billy would throw a big wobbly strop if ayone went near his nose with a needle though and it would be a nightmare to stop him wiggling long enough to do it Laughing

Anyway they're both booked in for wednesday afternoon and won't be having the KC jab Very Happy

jeez I have to carry Ruby into the vets and thats just to get weighed!! I would never get her in if I put her through that - I did really worry when she was teeny that she wasnt protected as it can be fatal to young pups or oldies but now she is 2 and healthy I kind of take my risks with KC tbh.

Charlie has just had his booster vaccines along with a KC booster.

To be honest, I only have KC done because kennels near here would insist on it. It only protects against less than half of the known viruses anyway.

I have had to take the view that as I have no supportive family nearby then there is every possibility that my dogs will have to be kennelled at some point, possibly at short notice. For that reason Topsy will also be given the KC nasal spray when she has her boosters early next month.

If I didn't have a need to give it then I probably wouldn't.
