Hi all,
I thought it rude of me to just keep popping in and reading, so I
thought I had better introduce myself. I am just 5 weeks away from collecting my gorgeous black lab called 'chewy' (hope he does not take after his names sake too much???????)
We thought so long and hard about whether a dog would be right for us as a family of 4. After careful consideration we decided to go for it and have decided that he will complete our family and we are soooo looking forward to him arriving.
We have a cat, one rabbit and two tortoises. I remember before I got my torties, I spent hours and hours on web sites researching and learning how to keep them healthy and happy.
I now find myself doing the same again for chewy, and to be honest, I never thought there would be so much to learn about dogs, but I am so glad I found this site as goodness knows what sort of dog he would have turned into without it!
Thanks for listening and excuse me while I do some more reading. I will keep you updated with my progress and will ask any questions I cant find answers to.
