It started Monday I thought he had swallowed something he sounded like he had something stuck in his throat. Then nothing till 3am this morning sounded like he was coughing.. Is this Kennel Cough? Does he need a vet? Is it serious? Could it be something else? He is only 4 months old. Should I keep him indoors? PLEASE HELP really worried mummy. He is eating and seems playful and happy maybe a little quieter than usual.

Thanks Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

If you are worried and he is obviously not right I would take him to the vet to get him checked out.

Hope he is better soon, let us know how you get on.

If you are worried ,take him to the vets .

If you suspect kennel cough mention it when you make the appointment and they will tell you what you need to do when you get to the surgery to avoid spreading it

Hope he is feeling betterer soon

Thanks for advice off to vets tonight 6.10pm. My first 3 days back at work this week too as if it wasn't stressful enough leaving pup to OH to see to at lunchtime without him being poorly....

Been to vets with Jasper a bit vague only a little cough and a bit of a sore throat... given him some anti inflammatory and an antibiotic shot go back on Monday if still the same and contact them straight away if worse. Sneezed a bit this morning and no cough since yesterday evening so maybe just a cold with a bit of luck....

Keira, last year, had a sore throat and had anti biotics and it cleared up. It could be something like that, it was sore for Keira to eat and drink Sad

Hope Jasper is better soon.

~~~~get well soon~~~~
