Posted: Wed Oct 03, 2007 4:14 pm Post subject: Pepsi is at the vets .....SHE IS HOME YIPPEEE !!!!! PG 3

As you all know that I ve been back and forth to the vets trying hard to get the right medication for Pepsi's heartrate ..... Well on Monday we started her on another one ( cant remember the name but its some sort of beta blocker ) and she has been very sick ...... She had sickness all day yesterday and late last night started having fits ...... Darren took her straight to the vets and she has been there since .... she is on a drip and has had loads of bloods taken and is quite poorly ... vets think it has nothing to do with the new tablets as pepsi has slowly been losing weight and been showing signs for the past month something is a miss......... Her heart is under massive strain and the vet have said they may sedate her to give her a peaceful night ..... her X ray this morning shows her heart has enlarged again and the is a very small shadow on her lungs ........ I ve been in three times to see her today and every time she didnt show her usual happy self so I know she is not right ..... she has nt eaten for 4 days and only had a small about of water .... her bowels are clear so no blockage and she has been coughing up something not very nice ........ I m home now and will be going back again tomorrow morning ...... Vet have said they ring me tonight at 11 to let me know how she has settled in ..... Could I ask for some get better vibes for my Pepsi Doo ...... I hope its just a bug she has caught and nothing else and she be back to her normal self soon ......
