Went off to Stamford today to have Gem and Rocky's eyes tested ready for a litter early next year (thanks John for sending me the details of the Stamford Vet). They passed which was good.

We then went on to have a very long chat about Optigen Testing as I had informed him that they were both Normal and he said that although he had read up on it all he hadn't actually seen the paperwork so I got it all out for him to have a look at. He went on to ask me lots more questions and look at hip score paperwork etc. I must admit I was starting to think this is odd what has all this to do with an eye test? All became clear when he asked to be put on my puppy waiting list.

I must admit I breathed a sigh of relief as I was beginning to think he had noticed something wrong with them. He then proceeded to give them loads of titbits (which are normally rationed here) so they thought it was there lucky day and got me to bring Darcy the pup from there last litter in for him to have a good look at. Not quite what I was expecting when I set off this morning Shocked .
