You're right Alyson. Thats why it's so important to isolate them. KC is very rarely any problem to a fit healthy adult, but can so easily be a killer with the very young or very old. And when you go out you never know if the next dog along the road is an 11 week old puppy or a 15 year old timer. Even if the next dog is fine, who's to say that it is not on it's way home to where there is a litter of week old puppies! And we would all of us hate to be responsible for the possible death of these pups or oldies through just a moment's thoughtlessness!
Regards, John
