I have to agree with Sarah, Lesley I'd be worried about her if she wasn't drinking for days on end - I would be taking her straight to the vet.
As you know, Pheebs is a terrible fusspot - she has been so fussy with food and water for months and months, we worked out that she won't eat or drink from a metal bowl which kind of solved the problem over night! Nevertheless, it is potentially very dangerous for them to not drink for days and tbh I would be insisting that they did further tests rather than avoiding it.
Good luck.

A really daft question but has she been checked out for any "waterworks" blockages or digestive tract probs, if she's a picky eater and now won't drink I would definitely get her along to the vet pronto.
All the ideas so far seem great to me, but I would suggest they would be for the short term only, and a longer term answer is needed.
Hope you get her sorted soon

Thanks everyone for the advice, it's much appreciated.
I have bitten the bullet and taken her to the vets and thankfully all her bits are in full working order, although the vet did advise that if she continued the way she is it may have lasting effects for the future
The only conclusions we have really come to is:
1. She doesn't like the taste or smell of our water - I bought a cheap bottled water this afternoon and she drank it without any fuss (yay!!)
2. She's just being a total picky paws and 'wants what she wants' rather than whats best for her
If I have to keep buying the cheap bottled water then so be it, at least I know she's getting fluids at least once a day (until she turns her nose up at it that is )
