HI,
I've just noticed that Ida has 2 hard pea-sized lumps on her face. One is below her eye, high up on her gum and the other is on the other side, but higher up. They don't seem to bother her when I have a feel, but they are hard, round and just a lump really!

I can remember Echo having one identical to Ida's, but I never did find out what it was and although the vet took a look at it, nothing further happened (and I can't remember if it remained there for always or gradually disapeared....shocking of me to forget Embarassed )

Any idea what they could be? I'm not unduly concerned although they do make her face looke lopsided when she smiles!

Oh heck....I was really hoping that someone would say 'they're such and such glands' or something similar Shocked Maybe I should worry then? Just seems odd that Echo had one the same. I've been racking my brains and from what I rememeber, the vet did have a go at aspirating some cells from it but because it was near a nerve, decided to leave it and see what happened. I think it just remained the same, not getting bigger or smaller and we stopped noticing it after a while.
Has anyone got a lumpy face Lab???

Mojo had a lump on top of her head a few days ago....I think it was a gnat bite though, as it went down after a couple of days. Confused

Mmmm..I dont think that these are bites........So wierd that Echo had the same thing. Maybe my dogs are allergic to me!!

Could everyone give their dogs' faces a good feel and report back any pea-shaped lumps to me?!!! Come to think about it, Echo's lump must have appeared at a similar age to what Ida is now. I'll feel a right charlie if I take her up the vets only to find out that its just teething or something!

Mmm..I can kind of wiggle them around a bit and they are very round and regular. They aren't on the surface of the skin. They feel a bit like blocked saliva glands..sort of.......they feel like she has a pea under the skin basically!

Just felt both Cindy and CJ`s faces no lumps apart from CJ having one under his chin, I think its a wart, he`s had it a while, not quite the size of a pea though. Smile
