Still feel bloody awful tho

Really, Shadow lets out the most humungous yelps for the slightest of things. Today, we threw him a (really) soft squeaky teddy bear, it gently caught his side and he yelped. We prodded and poked him all over both sides and got nothing more than a waggy tail and lots of licking.

Jet on the other hand, never moaned about anything Sad

Don't feel bad about it. Every pup gets stood on sometimes.

I know they'll scream alarmingly but that is their only defence meganism as as pup, meaning "don't hurt me, I'm just a helpless little pup". It works as an emergency handle for any other dog that is aggressive to the pup or hurting him.

And please pay attention to this: it is always the dog's mistake standing in your way, so don't comfort him, just observe if he's alright (not limping).
I know that people's first reaction is comforting the pup but that is wrong from a dog's point of view. When a pup is standing in the way of an alpha the pup gets run over. You don't think the alpha stops to see if the pup is OK.

The fact that he's walking like before I'd say: he's fine. And you should be too.
