Did you stand on his paw? I'm sure most pups have been stood on a least a few times in their first few months! Mine certainly have ! If he's walking OK then its maybe only his pride thats wounded!

Like Becs said, pups do like to be next to you and they can be really quiet, Shadow's been under foot a few times now, if he's walking ok he's probably fine.

Ooo You great big meanie. Wink

I think I've accidentally trodden on all my pups and my kittens come to that....well they creep up right behind you while you're not looking:roll: .

Don't feel too bad about it.....pups do make the most awful noise if they are only slightly hurt. As long as he is walking ok now, I wouldn't worry. Wink

Don`t worry about it Skatty, as the others have said many a paw has been trodden on, Cindy still gets trodden on in this house cos she gets under my feet, she makes the best of it, foot in air and scream the place down Very Happy

I`m sure that as Midas has had a bum tuck round the garden he`s fine and no damage has been done Smile

In the first 24 hours of Alfie being here, he had a nose bleed from being accidentally hit in the mouth, had a bleeding face after Daisy accidentally caught him with her mouth (being too rough) and had been trodden on at least twice!!!!

Think all pups have a nak of getting in the wrong place at the wrong time! Sure he'll be fine!

Mind you.... perhaps that's why Alfie is such a monster now, getting his own back........??

not long after I moved here, I shut one of the kitten's tails in the kitchen door, and the other kitten I shut his leg in the door.

We got Henry when he was 6 months old, and within 2 weeks of having him my 3 year old run his paw over with his bike. He did fracture his toe then, but it was obvious as he was walking round on 3 legs, and it took the vets 3 weeks to work out what was wrong. Shocked
