Well, its been a month now so I thought I'd give an update...

He's definitely lost weight. About 3kg. His collars have all had to be shortened about 1.5-2 inches!

We tried him on a new bag of JWB from a different shop - he still wouldn't eat it.

I ordered some Natures Menu when I got his new bag of food delivered last week - and wow, what a difference! He sits next to me while I'm making up his bowl now! And he eats the whole bowl, and then licks it clean!!!

Yay Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

So he's been on that almost a week now, will give it another week then take him to the vets for another weigh.

He was on 1.5 cups of JWB, now he's on 1 cup JWB and half a pouch of ND. I'm considering upping his food volumes for a few weeks to try and get some weight back on him, what do you think, good idea? Or should I just leave well enough alone and let him gradually get back up to condition over the next 6 months?

I'm sooooooo happy he's eating again!

Ness

Ness - just caught up with this!!

Brilliant so he is just being a pop star!! fussy! I am so glad it is nothing more!!

I must admit as I was reading I was definitely going on the take him to the vets route because fussy labs are just so far outside my experience!!! I have only ever come across the clear it nanoseconds brigade!!!!

However it appears you ahve got it sorted! I am really glad!!!

Good news that he's eatting again! i'd be inclined to let him put the weight back on gradually as if u up if too much it might just come straight out the other end!!! hee hee

glad u found something to get him eating (oh and well doen about the de-crating!)
