Ebony was 15 months when she had her first season and her second followed very shortly ( 4 months) after. Her first was very heavy on her first season.

Ruby was 15 months old - have a very short season (barely 2 weeks) and if she hadnt had a white sheet on her bed we wouldnt have known she was in season at all. As we were spaying anyway my vet advised if she hadnt come in by 2 years old to spay her anyway HTH

Charlie's sister did not have her first season until almost two years of age. There is such a wide variety of what classes as normal.

Topsy, my cocker spaniel, did not have a clear season until she was almost two either, but there was some question mark over whether she may have already had a "silent" season whilst still with her previous owners (my brother-in-law Rolling Eyes ). The season we know she did have was quite light and could have been missed if I had not been watching carefully for it.

Helen.
