Its a shame that you are in Hull and I am in Hampshire as I leant my puppy cage (which is big enough for a full grown lab!) out and you could willingly have borrowed that - in fact you'd be doing me a favour as I have leant it out and for other reasons would like to have it back...

So you get £5,000 for her OCD which is a reasonable amount, are they just treating with metacam etc or are they going to do an operation at some stage...

It is hard trying to restrain them isn;t it? I remember when Tia, my cat, had her RTA and having to cage her - that was not easy - especially when Neo and her brother ganged up to steal her food....!!!

Good luck and thinking of you both.

hi eve,

Yeah it says in the small print that ......the limit of cover and excess are on a (£5000) per incident basis, which is good i think?

thank you for the offer of a crate anyway, the thought is appreciated, they are treating with the metcam and the seraquin for approx 2 months and are going to see if it makes any difference, when we go back in 4 weeks they are going to review, and possible re-x-ray to keep an eye on her, they haven't said anything about surgery, but then he also stated that there wasn't anything really bad on the x-rays taken yesterday, so fingers crossed medication does the trick,

oooh she was a monkey this morning though, she has been coughing since we got her home yesterday (gonna keep an eye on that) and been really drousy, she's still a bit off this morning, but when i let her out for her business, a dog went by the fence and that was it she shot to the fence, i shouted and shouted but she just looked at me as if to say "but it's my job" Confused Confused

so she came hobbling in, bless, this gonna be fun x x x

Oh Sarah, I've only just caught up with this and realised that you have this problem with Sasha.

It is not easy to keep them quiet, its even a problem for us with BJ and he's a lot older than young Sasha.

I wish you the very best of luck, like you so kindly wished the best for me and BJ. Please let us know how you and Sasha get on during the next few weeks of enforced rest.

xx

Oh Sarah

That poor dog! I hope that she will be ok as if she is not going through enough at the moment...

I am coming up north next week but I am not sure there is going to be a convenient place to meet up - but if you need the cage PM me and we will see what we can work out...

I am thinking of you and Sasha....
