Looks like a couple of people from Polperro will be there with a LOAD of dogs. Hope some of you will be able to make it as well. If not, there's always next time.

As an update to this. It looks like there'll be about 3 or 4 labs, a GR, a couple of spanniels and a bitza (at least) from Polperro and at least another one from further round the coast. If nothing else, it should be a laugh trying to get them all over to the Cafe for a cuppa later on Laughing

Rain, wind, miserable mizzle, we'll be there anyway.

Typical, I pick the naffest weekend to meet up on Seaton beach. Ah well, it could be worse (and probably will be by 11am!).

Boy do I wish I hadn't posted that last one. By the time I left this morning, it was actually clearing up a bit. Got to Seaton at just after 11 and the HEAVENS OPENED !!!!!!!

Still, it was a good fun morning. Met up with another LF member, OH and lovely looking lab, Bo together with a couple of neighbours and their dogs. Shadow managed to play as best he could given the severe weather but ended up digging himself a hole to shelter in.

Here's to another meet up soon. Let's see if we can make it a little further inland and meet some of the Devon brigade too next time?

I live about 25mins the other side of Okehampton to you. If that's any help in the future.

Saw your post first thing and thought we'd wander that way for 11ish and meet some LFers. Unfortunately we got to Fowey and realised we'd no cash for ferry. By the time I'd walked into the town for cash point (couldn't face driving round the one way) and got across the river it was getting on for 12:00 so we diverted to a strecth of the Polperro/Polruan coast path - wet, but fantastic tide running.

We are between St. Austell and Truro. Will look out for future posts if your planning future mid-Cornwall (south or north coast) GTs.

Hope you had a good walk.

Okehampton's not far but St Austel is closer. What about Coliford lakee for the next one? It's the Bodmin end of the A30 but some great mooreland and water up there. Maybe try and pick some nicer weather though Laughing
