Hello everyone,
I would like to say I am so glad I found this forum a few weeks ago, before actually buying a puppy.
I am looking for a nice female yellow lab, to join my family consisting of Hubby, a son age 15 who has autism, and a daughter age 13.
I have read so much valuable information provided by you all, I now feel more equipped to make a sound discission, and have all ready decided against buying a puppy that I would have previously snapped up.
I have started reading a few training books, so I can become familiar with the different methods, then choose one method, so we can be consistent when we do bring a pup home.
I have also ordered the two book pack from the gun club uk site, and I shall snap up a copy of John Wellers book when it becomes available.
I also have the crate set up in the kitchen, the puppy gate in position, and all the other whats-nots necessary, all we need now is the puppy

Hello! Good luck finding your pup, I know it sometimes feels like forever, but it's best to find a reputable breeder and go on their waiting list, as at least then you know you're getting a baby who's had the best start!
