Like I said, it's buyer beware. Particularly with Optigen testing - no-one should now accept 'Clear by Parentage' parents unless its on the KC certificate....

Its very easy to say they are when they're not Rolling Eyes

The Newmarket testing centre only seem to use the European eye certificate NOT the BVA/KC one and HC is not listed,

Don't understand as the ECVO eye certificate does include HC as well!

As you say helen, HC - kind of - is listed on your one used on the mainland. There is certainly one of the big three not tested for here, hence kennels using it to escape the big stick, maybe John can shed some light. I could have sworn it was HC.... but maybe not.

I've only just noticed this post! Thats rather interesting Helen. No Di, I dont know the answer, but I do know a man who will!

I just went to look at their website and I notice that Prof. Peter Bedford is listed as "Diplomate", and it just happens that I will be seeing him on the 16th, so I'll ask the question! As they say, "Watch this space!"

Regards, John

Now see when i was looking into buying a puppy, one breeder spent ages telling me that black labs were notoriously the most laid back and easy to train out of the 3. And that they were smaller and had less hip/elbow problems! Can you guess what colour the pups she was trying to sell were???
