I wouldn't have thought so..................it would be the job of the Breeder from who you bought the dogs from, maybe ask them? But it would cost alot more money now....£60 I think for each, that is of course providing that their own parents were KC Reg, which TBH, I can't imagine they were, otherwise the breeders would have registered the litters with the KC at just £12 per pup

No sadl;y the Dog Lovers Club registration means nothing as regards Kennel Club registration and if someone uses this rather soppy organisation, it is usually to try and hoodwink people - buyers - sorry! That is because they can say 'registered'.... but infact the registration is worthless.... a bit like registereing your Aston martin with the Aston martin lovers society, and then decaring that means it has a DVLA registration!
Sorry, of course ring and ASK the breeder if they could have been KC registered - thats eay to find out - ask if mum and dad were BOTH kennel club registered, if they WERE you can, if they WEREN'T you can't. But the Dog Lovers thing is just a sweet little thing that should be stopped because it can badly mislead people.

i have all the pedigree papers for me dog but its with the dog lovers club
'Pedigree papers' doesn't mean anything, let me explian.
A pedigree dog is just simply one who has both parents of the same breed, so both Labradors. THAT is a PEDIGREE dog, meaning you could make up a pedigree of his background because it is all known, no grey areas, no border collie crosses and dubious liasons with the Jack Russell next door...
Those Labradors that make up your dogs background don't have to be kennel club registered, just means they were all Labradors.
A PEDIGREE certificate is just the family tree of that dog. So any dog, kennel club or dog lover registered or not can come with a pedigree certificate. it just means, as I say, that the breeder knew (or has made up) the dogs behind your dog, written them down and handed you a piece of paper with them on.
Kennel Club Registration can occur if both parents of your puppy were kennel club registered themselves. Some breeders CAN do this, both parents ARE registered, but choose not to because it saves them some cash as it costs £12 per puppy to register them. Its sad and very shortsighted and irresponsible but nevertheless it happens. Dogs CAN then be registered at a later date IF they were eligable but only up to six months of age I believe at the £12, after that is gets a lot more expensive.
So the dog lovers pedigree just means they sent your breeder a cute little set of bits of paper to fill in with your dogs family tree. It doesn't even have to all be correct, noone is checking, and often they just pick names out the air and fill them in because they know no checks will be made and you will think your dog all the more worth the money for having something completed in your hand which seems worthwhile but sadly isn't unless your dog is kennel club registered because it can be a complete fabrication.
its no slur on you for buying into what is promoted as being 'worthwhile', this daft Dopg Lovers registration. But it should be seen for what it is, a small consolation prize often used to hoodwink people into thinking it might make their dog 'legit' or 'registered'.

I'm so sorry, but the Dog Lovers registeration is not worth the paper it's written on. I just wish the Trading Standards people would shut them down. But trouble is, they are breaking no laws. Enjoy your dogs as pets, but please dont breed from them. The chances are you will have the greatest difficulty selling the pups.
I third that opinion - DLRC papers are worthless, and usually mean there is some reason why the puppy cannot be Kennel Club registered. Was the mum very young or very old?
IME when I have come across DLRC papers being offered it would often appear to be as a result of bad puppy farming, with dogs that barely look like the breed they are supposed to and certainly nothing like the realitive they are 'supposed' to have.
