Can I ask a silly question? Please don't have a go at me, but why did ticket sales only raise 113? Tickets wre 10 a head and there was at leat 50 or 60 of us there. I know the hire of the fielsd would have cost some but surely the cost of tha was split with Motorhomes.. (and we paid extra for camping)???

Hi Sonja,

As on the original GT thread HERE it clearly states the amount to be donated from each ticket bought......

GT TICKETS
Adults £10 ( as done previously - £1 donated to lostlabs )
Children ( up to 16 years ) £3.00 ( 50p donated )
Family ticket ( 2 adults...numerous children up to 16 ..... ) £25 (£3 donated )

The remaining monies were used to cover the preperation costs and extra costs involved in putting together the day itself insurance for example.

As for the field, the motorhomers did have a lower price and that was for a number of reasons - the main ones being they didn't have any electric and they were/are classed as a rally. We weren't classed as a rally - just a group of friends meeting up in the same place. On top of that our event held more costs for the campsite to deal with that weren't an issue with the motorhomers.

Hope that helps

Kaye
