Sarah - I just love the expression on Marleys face.... it is priceless!

And thank you so much your suggestion seems to have sorted the ears out - no more shaking or any signs of discomfort at all - and it will have saved me a fortune. The last time he had an ear infection and I went to the vet - for one visit he lifted £100 off me!!

You could fit many a sentence to Marley's expression Laughing

Regarding suggesting the vinegar mix, no worries Wink

Acetic acid (aka vinegar) is also good for preventing infections in the future, it helps prevent the growth of bacteria Wink

It is probably best to do it after each time your lab goes into water. You could also plug Neo's ears with cotton wool soaked in the mixture (and then sqeezed gently) and put in the ear BEFORE you take him swimming.

This will help prevent any dirty water going into the ear and then you just need to wipe the inside when he has finished swimming when you get home Smile

Just be careful not to push the cotton wool too far, but enough so it is secure while he swims. Smile

£100 for an ear infection Shocked Oh my! White vinegar - all of around 50 pence - there is no comparison Laughing
