I was wondering if anyone from those areas (Or anywhere else for that matter!) fancied a mini GT

I was wondering about meeting in the Wheatsheaf car park going for a walk around the lake and then back to the pub for lunch or whatever....

If you are interested can you let me know and what dates would be good for you....

Hi both

So if we aim at a weekend in October - is that ok with both of you? If anyone wants a date in September before the weather gets a bit iffy as well I can do next weekend but after that its going to be difficult.

Yes I did mean the Wheatsheaf at Virginia Water - its a great pub the food is good and the dogs are welcome outside...And of course you can park there free of charge providing you purchase food or drink which avoids the extortionate charge of the "official" car park.

I thought if met at say around 11 am - would that suit everyone? We can then go for a stroll round the lake and back to the pub for lunch....

we might be able to join you.. thats if you don't mind Bess the ASBO dog coming along... actually she is getting better, and we've just returned from Windsor Great park and she behaved beautifully. Let us know what weekend you are getting together and if we are free we would love to come along

Thought i'd add this, will put into a new thread. Next Sunday (16th) in Virginia Waters there will be a sponsored dog walk in aid of RSPCA, so if any one did fancy meeting up then, perhaps we could do the walk? Very Happy

Am unable to do any weekends in October but would be up for any in October, think walk and lunch excellent.....it will be interesting with Barney cos not really tried this yet. He's a rescue dog so new things taken very slowly. He adores Virginia Water and has not yet got an ASBO for bad behaviour just does the disappearing DOG trick Embarassed Embarassed

Please let us know dates

Hi

What a shame! I can't make the Sunday - it would have been great to do the sponsored dog walk as well as a GT - but I have to go to see my father next Sunday as I did not go this...

For me, the GT will have to be at a weekend because I work full time...

Am easy whether it is Saturday or Sunday. I am meant to be away the first weekend in October so I would suggest the following dates..

13
20
21

Can people vote for their preference and we can fix a date

PS Bess the asbo dog is MOST welcome!
