yes we weer going to do it today but we have had them together and she wasnt ready so going to try again tomora and see what her reaction is then, they lady who owns her has bred ridge backs before so she knows what to look for so hopefully we should have something by the end of the weekend will keep you posted

Good to hear the bitch owner has some breeding knowledge already, that knowledge will be helpful, at least you won't have to worry about her, just your dog Smile
How'd the second attempt go, did the bitch stand for him when you tried again?

hi the mating went fine she stood for him beautifully didnt need the muzzle as she just went with the flow, was easier than i thought and both dogs performed well and got on with it. Will let you know of the outcome lat a later date Very Happy

Glad it was easier than you thought. Are you all Ok with the paperwork you need to give them now? Not being patronising, just checking:
- Signed and (stud part) completed litter registration form
- Reciept for stud service commenting that if no puppies occur you will provide a free return stud service on the next convenient season (if you will, of course).
- Copy of your boys Hips, Elbows, Eye certificates for the bitch owner (Eyes being valid until hopefully after the puppies are picked up otherwise its as well really, ethically, to get another done).
