Hi there,

I am in South Wales and have been looking for a yellow lab pup for months now. After a lot of searching, I ended up travelling to Warwickshire for the right pup 2 weeks ago.

I know you probably know this anyway, but please please be careful as there are so many puppy farms in our area and it is easy to get "caught".

Good luck in your search.

Vicki

Try contacting your local breed club, but if you are willing to travel and wait for the right pup it will be well worth it! The breed club will be able to tell you about litters in
their area that have had the relevant health check eg. hip scores, eye tests and elbow scores.

Laughing Laughing

Mrs Barker, secretary of the LRC also has a litter of yellows due in the not too distant future so definitely worth a call if Linda can't help

Hi,

My favourite one is "I have a golden labrador but its the long haired type!" Shocked Err - try Golden Retriever!

I have nearly brained my mum, as it took me 2 years to get her to understand - yellow Labrador, Golden Retriever! She still sometimes refers to my Lucy as a Golden Lab. I just wince and go and look up nursing home phone numbers Wink
