hi shelley oh poor winston glad you went with your gut feeling and took him to someone who would listen sometimes vets think they know whats what when they clearly cant be bothered to listen to the owner,
i wish him a speedy recovery and hope they sort out the right medication for his epilepsy x x x
Update from the nurse today - He is still on the drip and will be for tonight, I think left any longer and I would have lost him Anyway he has drank a bit of water and is keeping it down - she says he looks much brighter - he might be allowed home tomorrow or Saturday (fingers xxxx) I've not given the epilepsy tablets any thought - but considering what he's been through I'll let him make a full recovery and then talk to the vet about it again. It is highly unlikely to have been caused by the epiphen.

Hi, I have just joined lab forums, recommended by Jazz. My lovely lab Brad was diagnosed with epilepsy four years ago and I joined the Canine Epilepsy Support Group. If you contact them on 08707 469 329 they will be able to advise you on the vartious medications available, diet etc. I have recently discovered he may not be epileptic but suffering from the same movement syndrome as Jazz's Monty. Hope Winston is feeling much better now.
