I am quite comforted by these mails. So thank you for the responses.

I have had still more troubles with Pet Plan and they do seem to be quite bad on customer service. It was interesting because the staff I spoke to were all charming and very understanding, other than the last team leader I spoke to who was just rude. The trouble is they talked the talk but didn't walk the walk.

I work is a customer service environment so maybe I just expect too much.

The final email I got said that they now have all the records they need and I will get a response within 7 days, I will let you all know how I get on!

I'm sorry you have had these problems, I too have petplan lifetime cover and can only sing their praises, we got Jake in January. I took the top of the range cover not knowing Jake's health background with the intention of reducing the cover next year yet within a month he was having treatment for an ongoing skin problem xrays which showed HD requiring a total hip replaced at a specialist referral clinic in march, by which time all I had paid to them was £99 in payments I never thought hey would pay the thousands he has cost them but the have and I must say they were and still are excellent. they pay the vet/specialist direct, I just pay the £80 excess each year for each illness.

I hope things get sorted very soon for you
