Hi all,

Thought I'd register and show off my new baby! Her name is Lilli and she is 10 weeks old. Just thought I'd say this site helped a huge amount when thinking about getting a puppy. Originally we were hoping for a rescue dog, but due to my partner & myself never owning dogs before we weren't being given a second look, which is sad but I guess we wouldn't have a clue of how to handle a distressed dog.

Anyway Lilli came home last Saturday and she has wasted no time in settling in. We have a crate for her which she loves, and when she's not in there she's busy destroying our living room!

We are a little concerned about her though, as she doesn't seem to be herself this evening, she has had diarrea (or however you spell it) and we can't understand why. I guess she may have chewed something she shouldn't have out in the garden. She seems obsessed with chewing grass! I guess its going to be a sleepless one tonight checking up on her. Generally though she is really good at night, and stays in her crate, we're usually waking her to take her to the toilet!

Here's a piccy of our little lady, will look forward to chatting to you all Smile

Hi and welcome!

You have one very gorgous little lady there!! Congratulations.

So sorry to hear she is not that well - she could have eaten something very unsuitable (she IS a lab after all!) but equally may not be well. I'd keep an eye on her check that she is drinking to make sure that she does not get dehydrated and starve her tonight to let her stomach rest.

If she gets worse starts vomiting or her condition deteriorates then I would be off to the vet pdq! She is not very old and not big enough to leave things too long yet.

And if she is still not well tomorrow then I;d get her checked over just to be on the safe side..

Good luck and let us know how she is...

She is back to her usual self this morning, we'd bought her a new toy yesterday and she did go a bit nuts over it so probably over excited herself!
