we have just a bout 15 mins to go before sentence is pronounced any one wishing to give any last minute oppinions / ideas onwhat suitable punnishment should befall Becs the guilty (by admission ) one please post now or forever hold your peace
lots of husshed silence and nervous twitchings
the judge notes the gang have arrived and are waiting in silence to the what befalls there mum becs who they forgive anything
in the gallery the press sit note pad and pencil poised awaiting the judges decision.
in the dock Becs sits nervously clutching a pigs ear zorro brought in earlier for good luck
the judge enters.....................
there is a hushed silence .................... pins can be heard dropping..........
becs is asked to stand and she does so, her knuckles holding on to the pigs ears are white.............................
she gulps.................................................
the judge speaks
" you are found guilty and have confessed to skullduggery of a most terrible and heinous nature, you have pleaded guilty to lying and cheating, to falsifying evdidence without aforethought to anyone man or dog except yourself, a crime the court finds to be abhorrent to humanity, we have listened carefully to all evidence, to your own admissions and apologies, to the character reference from lf members and that of the accused bernie who to her credit wishes to remain charitable towards you.
the court therefore pronounces that the punishment shall be that during the sausage and spoon race 2008 becs shall give bernie an 10 second advantage in the race, furthermore and by popular vote becs shall only be allowed to enter the race suitably clad in shorts and stripey wellies, all other entrants being allowed to wear what they feel fit for the event.
Becs you are now allowed to walk free to look after the gang and make amends with them as they feel fit, ( they may want extra walks and biscuits for a few weeks) you will present yourself at the 2008 sausage and spoon race in suitable attire as dictated by the court today or be excluded from the race.
ah-hem <coughs politely and with respect!> I have stayed up past my bedtime to await my fete....Do we have a decision or can i take it that I've been pardoned? Only I need to know whether to be making my Horlicks and tucking myself into my dear little bed or throwing together a few essentials for doing time at Her Magesty's pleasure in the Dog House?
