Just wanted to say hello to everyone, I've been using the forum for a while for handy tips & thought it was about time I joined. I've got one yellow lab 9yrs old who I rescued from the Dogs Trust on 06-06-07, named Hooch. He's absolutely gorgeous, originally from Ireland but unfortunately his owner died in a house fire - but luckily (for both of us) we found each other. He settled in the moment he arrived home & it feels like he's been here forever. Anyway....we've decided (that's me & Hooch!) perhaps now is a good time to think about getting a lab puppy, so we're currently try to find out lots of info. Hope you like the piccie,
awwww hooch is lovely, and how lucky you found each other, welcome to LF i know you will enjoy it and quickly become addicted (speaking from experiance) how sad about his previous ownder, was hooch in the fire too, does/did he suffer from any trauma?

Hi, they didn't tell me if he was in the fire too, & I was worried that he may have some side effects - sounds silly but I was cautious the first time I had a bbq with him here incase the smoke brought back memories - but nope he was perfectly fine & more interested in the food!
