Could be, we started him on Radio 4 and he quickly lost interest, thought Radio 2 was quite cool although my sons tell me Radio1 is where it's at, maybe worth a try!

If you can get his first feed up to 8am ish, then his last feed can be around 7 - 8pm ish
Always have a little water in his crate (use those bowls that clip on) because they can get thirsty during the night.
Or you could let him have a little drink when you let him out at 4 am during the night. Just remember no communication or as little fuss as possible when letting out during night.
You can also play with him for an hour before bed to tire him out - making his bed time half an hour later.
When puppies are played with they always want to go toilet afterwards, so if you let him out after play before bedtime, and it is half an hour later than normal, then he will release what he has left in his bladder and that half and hour later bedtime coupled with more tiredness may just do the trick
the no eye contact, not fuss thing is the key... we did this our first week home with Hudson and since then we have had little to no problems. Maybe we were lucky.
I wonder if feeding him a little later at night might help too.... seems a long time to go... 12 hours.
