.....was one of the worst experiences in my life.
It started with firstly, being stuck on the M6 with V festival goers then it took around 3 hours to put the tent up (this was the fun part).
My list of reasons for NEVER camping again are:
Creepy crawlies - there were 3 worms under the ground sheet and in my dreams (when I got to sleep that is) there were at least 600 in my sleeping bag!
Roosters - 4am and 5am are not good times to be waking up.
Weather - Cold, damp clothes all the time, everything I took with me was wet.
Dirt/mud - I can't stand the feeling of being filthy after about 5 minutes from having a shower.
OH's snoring - I can move bedroom at night when I'm at home. It was so bad I had to apologize to Muffin's Mums for the noise that was coming from him. I lay awake all Saturday night playing Solitaire on my phone.
Toilet - or lack of one. I couldn't even have a good booze up as a treck through a cold, wet field in the middle of the night to go for a pee didn't really appeal to me.
No, I'm not a natural outdoorsey kinda gal or you could say I'm a big wuss.
The dogs loved it and have only just mustered up enough energy and enthusiasm to go out for a walk this afternoon, I'd swear they've slept for 24 hours only moving for food and toilet. I loved meeting everyone too.
I just think next year I'm with Leanne, Ness, Rach & the other like minded ladies and book into a B&B for the weekend.
