Sorry to those of you looking forward to the Agility comp which should have taken place at 4-5pm
Such a shame when alot of doggies i saw for practice goes, i thought could definately of entered the comp. The weather was better later that evening but alot of people had packed up and left and i thought it would be unfair to hold a comp, without you all.
But i hope those of you who had a practice/training session had fun and i hope i have persuaded some of you to hunt out classes near you?!
Aww little Ed enjoyed a his little pratice Linzi, infact i was really pleased on how well he picked it up, may look into taking him to a local class, and puds enjoyed being able to have a go in the tunnel, next year he will be up there for the others hehe
Its not your fault you could`nt do the comp Linzi, sadly the weather was against us, hopefully next year we`ll be able to have some kind of a covering that will enable everything to be done in the dry
awwww no need to apologise Linzi - you did a fab job!!!!!!!! I was very impressed you have to work with dogs in the future you are great!!!!! Ruby loved it too and wasnt scared of you or your course at all which surprised me so thank you for that
I am just uploading the videos of Ruby doing agility when we practised - will post on this thread in a mo as your course was fab
If anyone else has a vid i'd love to see it, you can add it here on this thread or upload to the GT album?

I'd love to Vicky! Was supposed to be going with being a primary school teacher but i'm still undecided!
Don't know how your club taught you and Ruby contacts (a-frame, dog walk etc.) is Ruby still scared of them?
I didn;t get a chance to do the agility this year (nor have a dog that would have been very 'up for it'!) but from what I saw, you were doing a great job and people spoke very highly of you. I think there are enough primary school teachers around but not enough good dog-trainers! I vote you go with the dog training!!!

she shakes just at the noise - my trainer is soo gentle with her we used to stay after class and he would feed her off the new piece for about 10 mins then pick her up and stand her on it and then she would be ok after that. then once she has gone over offlead a few times - her ears go up she wags and smiles and I swear I can almost see pride on her face I gave up wearing eye make up to agility as I used to end up blubbing at how he got her out of her shell - no other way works with Ruby
She 'sussed' most things apart from the see saw as that didnt come out very often and after that we stopped. But tbh she as a whole has come on in leaps and bounds since then so I am thinking she probably wont be as reticent when we return
