Just wanted to say Thanks to everyone who organized the day. We have a great day despite all the nasty evil rain! it was just ridiculous towards the end of the afternoon... almost horizontial rain!

Loved meeting everyone... there were people i didn;t get to speak to and say hello... mayb next time Rolling Eyes

Coal enjoyed himself... sorry if he got a bit barky at other dogs and tried to pounce on anyone... he just wanted to play and couldn;t understand why he was still on lead around all these wonderful labs!

so thanks again!

p.s did the raffle get drawn??? we left and got all about it until i found soggy tickets in jeans pocket when we got home Wink

I would like to echo the thanks too;

Kaye, Julie, Dave, Stuart, Faye - for putting together a fantastic day despite the rain.

The photographer - coz my photos are brilliant!

The Kidderminster Scouts - The food was brilliant, hot and good value for money, I hope they sold the 200 portions of curry in the end!!

The PAT volunteers who turned up despite the foul weather and even came away with a few rosettes, incuding First in prettiest Bitch!

And the wonderful LF friends I have met over the years for making a wet weekend such a giggle.

THANKS x

Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you!!! Laughing
Despite the rain we had a brilliant time. I thought the location was excellent and had all that we needed for a great GT.

I wish there had been a lot more time and better weather to ahve had the chance to meet more people - I keep seeing peoples comments aout the GT and thinking 'I didn't know they were there!' Next year I shall make more of an effort to get aorund to talking tp more people, as there are lots that I would have loved to have got to know better. Brilliant meeting Mands and her OH and the lovely Sadie!

See you all again next year,
Becs, Dave and the Gang

Got back at 4 this afternoon, think I left at about 11:30!!, 4.5 hours to do a just over 2 hour journey Shocked , (M6 was chocca and queue cautions at almost every junction from 1 to 19, no idea what the cautions were for though, cos there wasn`t queueing to get onto the m/way Shocked )

Almost fell asleep a couple of times, Cindy and CJ both slept all the way back apart from a pee stop and have now settled themselves on the sofa Rolling Eyes

My thanks also to all those whose organised things for the GT, such a shame the weather didn`t co-operate for us but had a great time nonetheless, although I have to say I was wet, cold and bl**dy miserable by the end Laughing Laughing , felt a lot better after a shower and a change of clothing.

Thanks to Stuart for doing my tent for me, its gonna be a bigger one next year!! Wink Laughing , Kaye for sorting me out ticket and camping wise.

Also to Denise and Phil for their hospitality last night, was lovely to see Puds again and see that he`s doing so well after his latest op, poor lad thinks he can run about all over the place and I think gets a bit miffed when he`s forced to rest Very Happy Very Happy

The venue was great, having the field for allowing the dogs off lead was great, CJ had a swim in the river and soon adjusted to getting the ball as it floated downstream in the current Very Happy
