hehe - couldnt stay very long as i have plans later but as it was only half hour up the road from me i thought id stop by!
Everyones having alot of fun, the rain is on and off but it isnt spoling any of the fun!
I dont want to give too much away on who won the labralympic games - especially the three leggie race!! i know they will be dying to tell you themselves! lol
However BAILEY took first place on the 'let sleeping dogs lie' which was tempting as there were squeeky toys and tennis balls and treats being thrown all over the place! so im proud of him but he had some tough compertition with a yellow lab (who was that? sorry didnt catch a name)
It was great to see so many labs - bring on next years GT so i can actually camp! lol
Stayed nearly to the bitter end. It started raining at lunchtime and then never stopped. Must be us hardy dog owners, we stayed all through the dog show and it was pouring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The agility had to be cancelled because it would have been dangerous.
I have to say though I have never had so much fun out in the rain before
It was a great day and I would like to say a really big thank you to everyone who did all the organising!!
No I'm not going to give away any winning dogs either, not my place, maybe just a little one, apparently Dibley has a cute butt
Have heard from Jackie & Georgia....quite a few have now left as the weather is awful but they and a few more die hards are staying...they were all camping in Jackies awning at time of speaking.
They said they were having a fab time and have loved meeting everyone
I'm back. Millie and I had a fabulous day, we both enjoyed meeting lots of people and labs. We cant wait until next year, I love my B+W photographs I had done of Millie, that was such a great idea. I won a lovely collar & lead in the raffle.
Thank you to all the organisers, they did a brilliant job.

we were one of the ones that bailed early weather horrendous and set to stay that way so thoughts of a rainy night and that coupled with a wet puppy that really didnt want to venture out of the tent we headed home. Was such a shame that the weather cut us short a bit but was still fantastic. Ruby was fab at agility and I am toying with the idea of restarting her training again when she has no limps for a year. Was loving seeing all old faces again and meeting new ones and we had a lovely evening last night.
Hello!!! We are back early too! Luna was trembling and was not happy to be out in the wet and windy weather and also we didn't have the bravery to stay through... We had a fabulous time though and yes thank you so much to all the organisers for all their hard work!
M I thought Bailey was fantastic! A real star! So impressed! The other lab was Pudding! He was very good too, bless him he just couldn't say no to some tasty treats...
It was beautiful to watch the agility practice, I even had a go with little Luna and she loved it, Kyra seem to have fun too, I think I will have to look into taking them. Ruby was gorgeous to watch, she is so good!
Little Luna got second place in the cutest pup class and me and Becs with Luna won the three legged race! Yay! What a super partner Becs! Can't wait to do it again next year! xxx
We left early too! All 4 of us were wet & soggy & the tent had leaked all over our dry towels
We had a brilliant two days though despite the rain!!! Bournville & Bassett loved meeting everyone, especially Diesel, Coal & Muffin!! And I'm really sorry to the dog whose face Bassett peed on whilst submitting (I think it might have been Harvey?)!
They slept all the way home in the car (for 3.5 hrs) & are still flaked out now When we got back Bournville was so tired he could only be bothered to walk as far as the door step & did his business there!
Let's hope for better weather next year so we can stay the whole weekend!
