You can have it done at any age, so I would advise having it done asap.

Because Alfie is quite chunky (polite way of calling him a little fatty!!) the vet did his Microchip when he had his 1st vaccination at 8 weeks

Thank you all so very much. I have also had microchipped engraved on her tag. She is very chunky so will see what the vet says on Tuesday Very Happy

I had it done on a litter of 5 week olds to Optigen litter test them. I have to say, to be fair, they screamed like hell. yet every 8/9 week old i've done does not. So myself, minimum 8 weeks....
