If you are feeding a complete food there will be no need to add anything else, as everything the pup needs is already in there. Wink

I have given my pups a small amount of Goats Milk in the past (mostly when they were not on a complete food though), but I don't give cows milk as it can be too hard for them to digest and some dogs are intollerant to it.

Have fun with your new pup. Very Happy

Got to say, modern thinking is that dogs have an intolerance to cows milk, but the problem with this is that no one ever told my dogs! All of my dogs have had a little milk, even if only in their cup of tea! I must admit I no longer give my pups a milk meal, Weatabix of the like these days, but thats only because with modern foods it's no longer neccessary. But for very many years I did, with no ill effects at all.

Regards, John

If you want to give milk give goat's milk, that is what I fed my puppies but really Harry should get enough calcium from his food.
