Yes, I'm sure the breeder gave me a copy of the scores in all the papers he gave me. Will have to dig it out. Fingers crossed it's nothing. I've had clicky joints since I was a child and so far have had no problems. She's grown so much in the last couple of weeks so maybe it has something to do with that. If her Mum's anything to go by she's got lots still to do. She was one of the tallest labs I've ever seen and one of the healthiest. Hopefully she'll be a Mummy's girl.

Mojo was a pup like yours too Carly.....Rarely slept, constantly on the go and if I wasn't doing the entertaining then she just bombed round on her own Rolling Eyes .

She did calm down eventually.....I did loads of training with her, including going to several classes per week but unlike most pups it never seemed to make her very tired...and she was around 7 months before I started to notice any glimpse of calmness (unless she was concentrating on her training).

I never forced her to run about...she just did it....I suppose my only option would have been to shut her in her crate for hours at a time instead of letting her play...but I think I would have ended up with one extremely frustrated pup if I had done that. Rolling Eyes

She is a lovely calm girl now though when we are indoors....Outside she still runs about like the clappers though. Laughing

I haven't had a pup with clicky joints though, so I think I would get that checked out just for my own peace of mind. Wink

Cheers Jules. Yeah I couldn't put her in the crate either, like you said she would be very frustrated and come out and throw herself about more probably. I'm going to keep an ear on her until the weekend. As it's not constant and I've only heard it a couple of times I can't tell where it's coming from. If I can still hear something on friday then I'll call. She certainly doesn't seem to be bothered by anything and it's not slowing the little zoomer down at all.

OK sorry to keep banging on. There was a much quieter click this morning when she got out her crate and nothing since. I'm going to speak to my friend tonight who is a vet's nurse to see if she's got any ideas. Since glucosamine & chondroitin seem to be an over reaction I'm going to get her sardines in the mean time, are there any other foods that can help a neurotic Mum?
