Hi Laughing

My name is Kate and I have 2 lovely old boys- Jonah my chocolate who is 10 and his "brother" Jasper, also 10, who's black.

I've had Labs ever since i can remember and love everything about them.

Now my boys are getting older and Jonah has just been diagnosed as having diabetes- something none of my other labs have had and i thought some of you labby experts out there may be able to offer me some advice about adjusting to living with diabetes-

i will post some more specific questions at a later date,

Jonah and Jasper are gorgeous. I too have two 10 year old labs, Max (black) and Bruno (choccy).

Can't help you with diabetes advice but I'm sure someone on here will be along to help.

Hi there, welcome to LF, Jasper and Jonah are handsome lads.

I had a Yorkie with diabetes some years ago and used to give her insulin injections once a day, other than that I did nothing else different for her, she never got sweet things anyway.

What has the vet said about the treatment Jonah might need?, I don`t know if, as with some humans it can be helped with diet and no meds.
