Yes it is difficult, I was childminding when we got Fudge although the youngest was 3 at the time so was a little easier as she understood...I also didn't want Fudge snatching food out of their hands and pinching their toys...I wanted Fudge to learn the difference between her toys and the kids toys. Good Luck with it, swap things Rolo can't have with things he can have as you take it say give etc.

Yes I will keep it up - I do swap the toddlers toys for Rolo's everytime, hopefuly the message will eventually get through!

Where in Herts are you by the way.....anywhere near Watford

I am in Barnet - so about a 20 min drive from Watford. Can you personally recommend any good training classes? I'd be willing to travel to Watford if it came highly recommended. I have a long list of local trainers that my vet gave me - but I would prefer to go somewhere that someone has used and is is happy with - as apposed to ringing through a list of numbers and taking pot luck. I will also post this in the training section.

Many thanks,

He's adorable!!!
Bournville was just the same.....I used to spend hours extracting things from his mouth!!! Even at nearly 8 months he still likes to pick things up.......if we leave anything out it's in his mouth! Bassett isn't so bad in that sense but he LOVES poo! Esp horse!

Hi Tracy I went to a class in Bushey and I know Helen (Labradash) goes to the same one this is the link http://www.busheyk9.com/

They are very good but Wendy is quite strict lol .We went up to Bronze level Fudge was entered for it and it had to be cancelled then I had to stop going for personal reasons and times of classes so we go it alone now.

There are a couple of us around here Georgia lives in Watford , Nikki (luvdogs) is in Bricket Wood and Helen at Radlett we have GT's from time to time maybe you might like to join us one time Very Happy
