Hello all,

I haven't been about much, Diesel is keeping me very busy along with my 2 children! However, we have a holiday booked in mid april and none of my family can accommodate my rather large playful 1year old lab!

I am in urgent need of some advice regarding putting him in a kennel, we are only going away monday-friday so drop off sunday, pick up saturday. I haven't owned a dog before so is there anything i need to do before hand? I know he needs a kennel cough nose drop from the vets, is there anything else?

I would love him to go somewhere he will be given lots of fuss and walkies as he can be quite energetic and excitable, most of the time he isn't but whenever he meets someone new he gets really excited!

I would of loved a lab sitter to have him at their home, as he loves other dogs and loves the home environment and kids etc! I just don't think there are any locally! I am in Sedgeberrow nr Evesham in Worcestershire.

Also what sort of price will i be expecting to pay to put him in kennels? If there are any local good ones please do recommend them to me!!

Thanks

Sam & Diesel xxx

There is a V good company based round there called maid for pets. We use them all the time and they stay in your home so they dogs can stay in familiar territory. They also walk them twice a day, water plants, and most other things u require.

I know a few people in Eveshma that kennel there dogs too, will make some enquireys.
