- Morning sickness at any time of day - white bile or off food - and appitite returns quickly sometime later.
- Nipples enlarging.
- Vulva has remained swollen since her season, hasn't returned to the neat little packet it usually is between seasons
- Some white discharge from vulva on occasion which she and others may well be very interested in
That would be it for now. I usually know by eye at the end of the 5th week for sure. But remember if she was mated twice or three times she may of not taken till anything up to 2 - 3 days after the last mating, so take that into account too.

Absolutely no sign of morning sickness, but the girls in the office definitely saw a discharge today, and her vulva has gone down (not as big as it was during middle season, but definitely much larger than her normal "mouses ear"!).
She was mated three days on the run, so five weeks could be next Wed, Thurs or Fri.
Posted: Sat Aug 25, 2007 2:12 pm Post subject: Whoo hoo, it's confirmed! Sophie is preggers!
Sophie has grown enormously over just the past week, her tum is massive, and she's now on week five. Our stud owners advised us to worm now, so we took her to the vets to check that out. The vet confirmed that they recommend worming, but has given us Panacur that is administered every day from day 40 for 20 days, so that the pups are free from worms too. He also had a gentle feel around and confirmed that he could at least feel one puppy. She's definitely slowing down now, and the two flights of stairs that she used to dash up are now taken at a slow and leisurely pace!
So now we start to make proper arrangements. Dad is to make a collapsible melamine whelping box, and we have to repoint the small patio that the whelping area leads onto, but the newspaper mountain is already substantial so we're getting there.
Fab news!! They will be due around the time that ours go to their new homes - so I'll be in need of a puppy fix by then
A melamine whelping box will be good as you can wipe it clean - you'll be surprised how far poo can travel! Make it as big as you can - ours is 4ft by 4ft and it gives Molly an opportunity to really stretch out and have a snooze whilst she's feeding her 9 pups as well as space for them to bounce around. We have now extended ours with a pen to make it twice the size and are hoping that will see us through for the last few weeks.
