Eliza and Keira can get a bit boisterous sometimes, so I will keep my eye on them and limit them being with Lana.

Thanks John Very Happy

I agree... Danny and Jake often play for ages, it doesn't usually get rough, but I can tell when one has had enough as they will go to the other side of the room and lay down to rest - at this point I usually stop the other from starting the game again, i.e. if Danny approaches Jake usually a "leave him" will suffice and he will go to his "pog" to lay down too... Jake is a bit more tricky to deal with having not learnt the "leave" command yet fully, so I usually distract his attention onto me, do a quick 2 mins sit and stay training and then he flops out too Very Happy

have checked with the pet supplier I deal with re food. They don't stock Hills, but could get it if I want it.

They do Burns Mini Bites @ £35.99 / 15 kgs and James Wellbeloved @ £34.80 / 15 kgs.

Would appreciate your thought on which one would be best for Lana. Also I think I know the answer to this, but should I get a small bag of Bakers to mix with her new food to ween her off of it?

As always, thank you Very Happy

we have just switched from roal canin to burns mini bites. to be honest she loved the burns so much that after day one i didnt mix it with her royal canin and we have had no upset tummy and lovely firm poos (well if poo can be called lovely Laughing ).

i am feeding by eye as i have been told by someone else on here that their reccomendation on the packaging is a little stingy and can be difficult to maintain pups weight on it. so were going by eye and feel, if she starts to look to podgy/skinny i will adjust the quantities accordingly.

I have been reliably informed by someone in the trade that JWB puppy is better than Burns mini-bites... as the composition is better i.e. better balanced than Burns mini-bites which are quite rice "heavy"...

Having said this Danny was on Burns mini-bites and did really well, but I have kept Jake on JWB (his breeders choice), however, when he moves to adult I will be using Burns...

we have Hudson on JWB and the vet sells it slightly cheaper than elsewhere... though we did find it cheapest on line somewhere and if you buy enough you don't have to pay postage... I can let you know where if you plump for that Wink
