and this is my first one.

There was a post about how much exercise puppies should get scaling up dependant on age. After the problems with Keira's hips I don't want to cause any problems for Lana. Does anyone have the link or know how much etc. I know about stairs, jumping off furniture and out of cars etc, but just want to get everything right Very Happy

Thank you in advance everybody as there will be loads Confused

Joanne & Keira

exercise 5 mins for every month of life so 4 month old 20 mins 5 months 25 mins etc etc - we used to do this mostly on lead with some offlead at teh weekend when teeny and gradually built up the offlead as Ruby grew.

Crate?

I have a large one which is away and is only out when Keira decides to eat the house, which she hasn't done for ages.

About how big should I get for Lana?

I started with a 32" Jo... and have a 42" in the garage for when Jake needs it.

Although, you could just use the large one you have and section some of it off, so as not to encourage toileting in it... Very Happy

Just had a thought about the collar too... I bought a puppy lead and collar and Jake only got to wear it twice because of the 3 weeks we had to wait after jabs - in that time he had grown so much Rolling Eyes so it was too small...

I don't have the boys wearing their collars in the house as I'm scared that when they play one or both of them will get hurt...
