I would love this thread to become a STICKY!

As i would love this thread to be here for those people who want to publically thank or share a story about another member

In light of the nominations for member of the months - there are some very nice stories of members helping others but obviously dont get mass votes so never get mentioned

So i declare this thread open to do that

thank a member and tell us all on LF how great they are!

I shall start with the person I nominated for member of the month for July:

Denise for all the hard work she has put in for the past year or so with all the foster dogs she has helped along the way (there has been alot!). Some she has sadly let go (my Gracie being one of them) and some she has kept (lol), Pudsey being one of them. I just know that Pudseys healing and great attitude has been because of what Denise and her husband Phil do. They love them.

So this is to you Denise (and Phil)- you truely are angels Very Happy

I would like to thank you M.... Very Happy

You always try your best to make LF a fun place, you have some great ideas and you always try to be as fair as possible, sometimes under very difficult and awkward circumstances.

I personally think YOU deserve a medal......but I don't suppose you can award one to yourself, can you. Wink

I would like to thank Annj for all her support over the pasted year...She might be in Somerset but she is always at the end of the phone..Through LF we have become good friends...even though we both have handsome yellow labs who we adore..we also have a common bond in we both have children with Cerebral Palsy...
Just knowing on a bad day with Jack that Ann is there to share the frustrations when I think we have moved on and yet in reality we have gone back months!!!!

Thank you Ann,Steve and Steph for being true friends....(also Kimmy)

Thank you Steve for sorting Sam out with his fishing gear...Sam does have to cope with alot and sometimes his needs get over looked (even at 14 he needs his mum)..
Love to you all and thank you again..

Keren.

I would like to post my nomination for July... Leapudding

Leanne went out of her way for me last month and I'd love it if she could get a medal for it. She read a comment I made off-hand in a thread about dog food that I was going to be putting Ozzie into a kennel for a weekend while we went to London.

She'd only met Ozzie a couple of times before then, but she immediately PM'd me and said she'd take him rather than us having to put him into Kennels. I dropped him off with her Friday morning, she even organised with her boss that she could work from home for the day on Friday so she could do this wonderful kind deed for me. She had him all weekend, until Monday morning (because we didn't get home until 1am Monday), she walked him and took him to the beach and snapped god knows how many photos to text them to me in London to reassure me he was happy and still in one piece.

I just can't get over someone offerring to do such a kind thing for me, I think she's wonderful and I think she deserves a medal for being such a generous soul.
