Hi all, I'm new to the forum.
Harry is my first ever lab. We rescued him from Cardiff Dog Pound when he was a puppy, and he's now about 2 years old. He's a bonkers, juvenile delinquent chocolate lab, and we love him to bits. He loves tummy tickles and long, long walks.
We wanted a friend for Harry so we took him back to the pound where he chose Jasper (an older black lab who was in a very sorry state an no one else wanted). Jasper is only about 9 and he was skin and bone, no fur due to flea allergy, and they thought he was deaf. He's now very happy and healthy - we cleared up his ear infection and he can hear perfectly now, but he has some kind of damage to his ears. He is now a healthy weight with beautiful silky fur, but has arthritis in his back legs and cataracts. He loves curling up with his head on your lap, and he makes purring noises like a cat. He is very loving and has calmed Harry down a lot!
Harry & Jasper are best friends and they drool most excessively when we eat apples & pears. They also go potty when we bake Welsh cakes, and get most upset when we don't let them have any.
