hi, i posted a few comments on here last year then sort of stopped once i realised i had to pay -lol!
anyway we're back now and fully paid up. Our choc lab henson is 21 months now and we love him to bits! Last w/e we had a real scare, he didn't eat all of his food sat tea time and didn't want to go for walk either? later that evening he started to get restless and i could see he was in some discomfort. 
so we decided to ring the vets at 71sh sat night who told us to bring him in. well to cut a long story short, he had emergency gut surgery that night and they removed a sock which he swallowed!
thankfully he is back home with us now and seems back to his happy self but we were lucky. not sure where he got the sock from but will be ultra careful from now on!
back to vets wed for stitches out then he can go off lead again with his mates!

Oh no - eating your sock! 
My labs were very good at eating socks as youngsters! Now, they just like to carry them around as trophies but also have a special fetish for knickers and bras!!!
Welcome back to LF and glad to hear your boy is "sock free" and doing well!
