Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any photos of these dogs, as i'm trying to build up a Picture Pedigree for my dogs! Smile So any help is greatly appreciated!I have a photocopy from a magazine, that Digger's breeder gave me, of these dogs-Killingworth Sadie MH, WR (CH Kupros SSpartacus-Dolofon Black Lass) and Leospring Mars Marine being sent for retrieve, Hilly Hoar ARPS,and Langshott Honeybee retrieving-I can scan and send these to anyone who needs them, as i only need the leospring one Smile.Firstley, Digger's Pedigree:

FTW? Smale Budweisser Of Mitheridge-is Digger's sire, I have one photo of him from the breeder. But more photos or info is greatley appreciated!Smile

These are all the dogs in Digger 5 Gen pedigree i need Photos of, and any additional info.I have found some of Flashmount Socrates on google, in the 1999 Retriever Championships, but that is all. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about these kennel name/prefixs-Speycast, Birchams, Birdbrook, Smale (I know they have a website, but none of the dogs on there are direct relations to my dog) Leospring, Meadowmill, Abbotsleigh, Olderhill, Flashmount, Dargdaffin. And I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Poppleton labradors-They come up a lot in my dogs pedigree, but very far back-even though some are CHs there are no photos or much info on them. Lindall mastercraft, Rocheby Acorn, Charway ballywillwill and Squire Of Ballyduff-Does anyone have photos of these dogs, apart from the ones on google images, that they would maybe be willing to scan so I can make a picture pedigree? Sorry it's so long, but after moths of searching book in the library and google, I haen't found anything on these dogs, unless noted. The only picture I have of leospring Mars marine is a photocopy from a magazine page that the breeder gave us. Also,Anyone closely related to my dog?Thank you everyone, this website is a great help!Smile

Hi Jessica

Flashmount Socrates belonged to Derek Capel (An A Panel Field Trial Judge) but Socrates died earlier this year. If you look at www.braidenvale.force9.co.uk you will see a photo of him although it is definitely in his older years plus a little about the kennel.

I would love any details and photos of Leospring that you have as I do not have any of these. Although I have to say I did meet Joy Ventura Rose (Leospring)when we were both competing at a Novice Working Test some years ago when my dog was just a small pup and I got him out for her to have a look.

Best Wishes

Hi
Have you read Richard Edwards Books. Of the top of my head they are Pedigree labradors from 1947 and a newer book which are earlier years. There are no photographs in the books but excellent information on the development of kennels in the UK. They are both privately published so I doubt would be available at the library. Richard often has them available on ebay (approx £15) or if you PM me I can give you his details. I am also sure Ballywillwill and Mastercraft are in either Lab bredding or the advanced books.
The best books for pedigree info and pics are the Clayton (now Jayes, Hewitt and Brittain) Pedigree books. They are pricey though (you may already have them) New at £25 - 30. Older versions (1970's ) can be up to £100+.
Have you tried the labrador free index website too? If not I can give you the link ??

Hope this helps Smile
ps Mastercraft was my first show dogs grandad he was lovely !!!

Hi-

My dog is the son of Flashmount Danny and although there was a lovely pic of him when I bought my pup- I can't find him on any pics now. My dog is now 2 years old (and neutered which is perhaps a shame now)

I know he's a fox red lab and was a field champion.

Best

Soe.

Here's Red, his son

Hi there. I own Montgomery Red Star who is the progeny of Flashmount Fall and Glenanne Dusty. He was born in a litter of about 7 on the 7th March 2006. Coming up 3 now. I think 3 Foxred and 4 black.
Very beautiful (of course) and more importantly a lovely sweet disposition. I went over to the UK to buy him and his little black sister and fly them back to Guernsey. I am in the process of getting his hips and eyes tested and would like to put him to Stud.
The rest of his family is
Grandparents: Flashmount Fall's was Flashmount Quiver and F/M Twister
and Glenanne Dusty's was Donaghaguy Garnet and Glenanne Angel

Grt grandparents on the Sire side were Flashmount Larch and Cottismor Accord
The Dam's was Flashmount Frost and Vintage Spire
would love to find a nice Dam for him.

Cheers Andie Fuller

Smale is Nicola Grellis' affix and Mitheridge is Kieran Smith. He does have a very nice dark yellow he uses at stud, so I assume that's him.
