It was fun Leanne - you missed a good walk, around 4 miles & easy going the only let down being the rain which started half way through the walk.
Ness's home made biscuits were great too. I hope everyone will go again sometime as I couldn't really fault it. Shame about your old car - it should not cost too much to do the head gasket. Get the new one on the road & off to more GTs' soon.

Well Katz and Eve, it's not as if we didn't give enough notice Laughing Laughing this walk was first posted in July and was bumped many times... Please do keep checking the GT forum regularly, say 2 or 3 times a month, and then you won't miss my posts about the next ones Smile It will be great to have some more new people come along.

Please remember though that there are usually 2 NWGT's per month, a Proper walk, and a Fun GT... and the proper walks are exactly that, they're long walks, there is no standing around gasbagging.

I'm working on the location of the next Proper Walk, so will post about that one soon! Date will be first weekend in October.

All's already been said about the walk on Sunday. Pity it rained on the way back, but the dogs had a blast and the area was beautiful.
I would definately go back again, maybe we can think about going back there again next Summer?
John, I'm blushing, the biscuits were much nicer the day before when they were fresh out of the oven! Will give you a copy of the recipe at Ozzie's birthday party!
The only thing I will do differently next time, is I will get out my OS map and actually measure the distance of the walk... because that walk was not the 3 miles that my guidebook claimed it was, I'd say it was closer to 4, and I had advertised it to everyone as 3. Oops.

Anyway, I had a great walk, thanks so much for the company, I got a msg from Debbie, Ozzie's breeder, she went to the second carpark and waited for us there Sad Oops again. Oh well, we'll see her again soon no doubt!

Thanks for the company, see you all again soon guys!!!

Ness

PS Leanne, don't feel too bad, it wasn't spectacular, not like you missed a walk in the Brecon Beacons or something! It was only Liverpool Smile LMAO

Only Liverpool! Blasphemy! Good job you're talking about the Wirral and not the 'real' Liverpool!

I'm back on the road - Wendy has gone into the garage to be fixed and sold and Annie the A class came today! She is fab so shiny and new - pud isn't impressed by his new spot in the boot though - i've had to lift him in both times! Laughing Laughing Not easy when he weighs approx 28kg! Smile

I can only do the Sunday 1st weekend in october babysitting one of my many godchildren on the Sat! Confused
