The girlfriend double checked everything that i have done!

Is it safe to carry the dog outside to allow it to get accustomed to the garden if it has not had any vaccinations?

if your garden has had no other dogs (or maybe even cats) that could have brought something in or that havnt been given their jabs

Of course its impossible to tell what goes in your garden, but you should be fine with the garden, you can also let him out in the town by carrying him but not putting him on the floor, this will give him a good start in early socilisation

If i remember right, your pup should have 2 sets of jabs (his other one being around 10 weeks?) before he can actually go walking on the ground in the outside world, usually its a week or two depending on the vet after the job

As for his runny bum, it may just be nerves of being in a new place... what do you feed him? are you feeding what the breeder did?

good luck! your making me puppy broody again lol

The vet was going to vaccinate (1st set at 8 weeks) him on Monday but wanted to see if his runny bum would clear up (hasnt yet) this could be down to nerves or an infection, either way he will be done on Thursday and any other medication given to solid things up.
He is being fed the food from the breeder (who has said he was fine at hers) the vet said that the food i have got (Eukanuba puppy for Large breed) is better than his current food, but again wants to get his toilet trouble sorted before moving other to the new stuff.
I shall give Max his 1st carry around the garden later as it is sunny.
Thanks for the help.

Oh sorry I didnt realise he hadnt had any jabs yet.

I would wait until the first jab is done at least before letting him toilet in the garden (as in on the floor) and then on a leash.

I know some people feel differently, some let them toilet outside regardless and some wait for the full set of jabs.
