Awww Nic it is a shame Showing just isn't Blues thing (maybe she didn't grow those teeth on purpose Wink ), but her being a bit timid could work in your favour in the Agility ring...Her wanting to be with you and wanting to please you, should help keep her focus on you Wink . Plus I'm sure when she starts to get a regular work-out her "Love Handle's" will tone up lovely. Very Happy

Just as an aside.....Oyster was born and bred to be a Guide Dog...but I still have my doubts she will make the grade, due to her being rather noise sensitive....I may be in the same boat as you, in having to rethink her career in a few months time too. Rolling Eyes

Such a shame about not being able to show Blue because of teeth Sad she certainly is a beautiful little lady.... Hopefully the agility will work out for you Smile

Well...If she fails she will first be offered back to her breeder, although as her breeder already has 6 dogs, I don't think she will want her back. Then she will be offered to me and unless there are reasons why I couldn't have her (I can't see into the future Wink ), then she will come back to her Mum for keeps. Very Happy

My first port of call would be to see if I can register her as a PAT dog, as I feel she has a lot to offer in that area. She is so people orientated and so calm and loving too.

I do hope she passes to become a Guide Dog though....As much as I would love her to stay with me...I am very allergic to failure and I have put in so many hours to help her overcome her funny little quirks...It's a double edged sword really. Rolling Eyes

Jules, I hope Oyster makes it - you have put in so much hard work with her. Blue, well she'll be a great and very pretty pet and maybe agility dog (if my hips hold out that long). She is a monkey in the agility ring and gets super confident! Little sod! Laughing Laughing

I'm very sorry Blue didn't work out for you.... as regards showing.... how very fustrating as she has some very nice points.

There is a little less of her all over than most bitches shown in the Uk, she is balanced in front and rear angulation but both stifle and shoulder could be a little less straight. She lacks a little bone for the ring, its hard to tell her body conditions she looks in good shape but, sadly, probably not enough for the ring under *some* judges, others you would be fine.

But regardless, she has a lovely head and reach of neck and some other excellent points so you will have a good looking working girl for whatever sphere you turn her to now!

Hi! I think she has nice proportions. front and rear angles are balanced, though a bit more angulation would be good. lovely reach of neck, flowing to a level topline (as on the 2nd picture)she is a bit narrow though i'm sure she will get the needed bulk when she matures. the shoulders could be placed better so that the front feet would be more under her. lovely headpiece.

anyway, these are just thoughts of a newbie Smile

i feel that it is hard to look and judge her at this time because she will still mature.
