My name is Karin, I live in The Netherlands with my boyfriend and we have 2 labs (and 1 forever in our heart).
The oldest is Bailiff aged 9, a choc male (or at least he was born a full male ). He has this funny name due to his breeder, who saw him as the one in the litter who always checked if everyone was playing by the rules and keeping them all together. He still gets a little nervous if our group splits up in different directions. Sometimes I suspect some Border Collie genes in him although is a very calm dog altogether. Very much a lab.
My other lab is a choc female called Sarah, aged 3. She is now living with us for just a couple of weeks. She joined our little family after our black lab Ixor died in May this year at the age of 13 and a half years. We were supposed to get a puppy from Sarah, but the pregnancy went terribly wrong and she ended up with a big internal infection. Her breeder did not want to put her at risk anymore and so not her puppy, but Sarah herself came to live with us.
