Pud got out of his basket once last night! After a fun afternoon and the leftovers of a roast beef dinner he was sooooo tired! Laughing

Oh John, sorry you were having hearing probs, the wind would have exacerbated it Sad
Hope all went well at the Drs and you'll be fit as a fiddle for Saturday?

Ozzie still being a baby had a rest day today after yesterdays extended playtime, and he's still lazing about in his armchair not really moving much Smile Last night was hilarious, I just *had* to video him snoring because it was so loud and piggy! He was zonked after all that swimming and running around on sand dunes.

Still can't believe the good luck we had with the sunshine in the afternoon.... hope you're all praying for that next Saturday too! LOL

See you all at our next North West GT - Proper Walk #1 on 2nd Sept... if not before!!!

Ness

Hi Stef, nothing organised as yet - i'm open to suggestions! We are having our 'proper walk' on 2nd Sept but is only for grown up doggies - bit too far for pups.

Anybody got any ideas for the next one?

Yes I have an idea for the next one... John, was it you who said you had a fabulous field/walk near your house??? Would it be good for a late Sept/early Oct GT?

Ness I did suggest a GT starting & finishing at my house a couple of months ago. You can walk down the fields to the river & back ( the dogs' can have a good swim & pics of the river Manifold are in Kelly's album) which is approx 1.5 miles or after the river continue on the footpath & via the road & some more short paths on a circular walk which is approx 2.5 miles. I have permission from the farmer to take the dogs to the river but once on the other side dogs would have to be kept on lead due to livestock.
If anyone wishes to come they are more than welcome as I think you would all enjoy the scenery but you will have to set a date as some Sundays I'm on duty as a first responder & if I know the date then I will make sure I'm not on the rota that day. Late Sept, early Oct would suit me fine.

Ness I should be able to hear people again tomorrow. The nurse examined both ears & found the right one is blocked solid with WAX. Left ear is not so bad. Have been using drops since Monday & both ears are plugged with cotton wool ( I look a right prat!). Have them syringed when I get home from work tomorrow so should be better.
See you on Saturday.
